Dave the Pirate is a pirate named Dave.
Obviously.
He wasn't born a pirate, but he was adopted by a pirate. One thing led to another, and eventually, his title came to be.
As far as Dave the Pirate Comics go, they are detailed, historically accurate artistic renderings of Dave the Pirate's many adventures, trials, and tribulations. Although the drawings and dialogs are amusing, and sometimes side-splitting, they mean much more than that.
Just kidding.
Dave the Pirate is meant to be laughed at. Ever since he was born from that coconut, his mission was clear: Bring joy to the hearts of millions. Rape and pillage later.
In order to achieve this massive goal, Dave the Pirate needs your help. Tell all your friends and family members, as well as anyone you see on the street, about Dave the Pirate, and soon, his life's calling will be complete.

Damn. Three weeks without a single update to any part of the site. I am ashamed of myself. The new comic is called "Dave the Pirate Watches a Very Scary Program". And I'm getting right back to refinishing the site. Sorry for my laziness.

I'm afraid I won't be updating any new comics for a week or so. There's a lot of construction on the site, as you may have noticed. Instead of running normal updates, I'll be working on the new site design. There's more about this in the News section.
